Slow Art Day
Saturday, April 5th, 11-4 pm
Slow Art Day is an international day of looking slowly at art. It's all about slowing down, contemplating and really observing the art. It's about making connections with the art and each other. Admission to the Museum that day will be free! Everyone is welcome!
Slow Art Day Basics
-
Look at 5 pieces of art slowly
Come to the Remington Museum on Saturday, April 5, 2025 and look slowly, around 10 minutes, at each piece of pre-assigned art.
-
Discuss your experience!
After looking slowly and contemplating each pre-assigned work of art, participants meet up at a pre-designated location at a predetermined time. There they are led through a discussion of their experience/thoughts by a moderator.
