Explore Beyond the Artwork with our new museum tour series!
Join us every second Saturday and third Thursday for our new monthly tour series: Beyond the Artwork
Each month, we focus on a different theme, exploring the Museum’s collection through guided discussion, close-up artwork analysis, and interactive elements that bring history to life. Beyond the Artwork tours are an expansion of our Art in Conversation program. Participants can join Education Manager, Julie Pratt, for the 30-minute Art in Conversation for an in-depth discussion of that month's theme. Then, the discussion continues on the move, with a guided exploration throughout the Museum, expanding on that theme.
Each tour is different! On some tours, you might get hands-on with replica objects, or try your hand at sketching. No matter the activity, each session promises an engaging and thought-provoking creative exploration that deepens your understanding of Remington’s world. Whether you're an art enthusiast or a curious explorer, there’s always something new to discover!
Beyond the Artwork tours are offered twice a month, every second Saturday and third Thursday, at 1 pm. Tours typically last one hour. Registration is not required, simply meet Julie in the Tiffany room at 1 pm.
