The Museum was able to purchase two letters (one of which is pictured to the left), written by Eva Remington on her mourning stationary, dating to 3/10/1910 and 6/10/1910 and concerning the sale of Frederic Remington's paintings. | |
The signed plaster casting of Sally James Farnham's 1912 sculpture The Cave Woman was purchased via eBay on December 51 2021, using Museum acquisition funds. This is an extremely important work for the Frederic Remington Art Museum. This is a piece that Farnham modeled to be a companion piece to and in conversation with Frederic Remington's Paleolithic Man. |
