24th Annual Middle & High School Art Exhibit

24th Middle & High School Art Exhibit
January 16 through February 21, 2021

The Frederic Remington Art Museum’s 24th Annual Middle School & High School Art Exhibit will open on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Because of the current need for social distancing, and with many schools providing instruction remotely, the exhibition will be presented in a digital format at www.fredericremington.org and on the Museum’s Facebook page

The public is invited to a special virtual reception on Saturday, January 16 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Not only does the reception offer an opportunity to view the entire group of artworks in the show, but it’s also a chance to meet the young artists, and some of their teachers, and is a great way to celebrate art education in the North Country. If you would like to attend the virtual reception, please email Laura Desmond for a digital invitation. Everyone is welcome!

The exhibition includes work by students from schools throughout our region, including: Brasher Falls Central School, Colton-Pierrepont Central School, Edwards-Knox High School, Hammond Central School, Immaculate Heart Central School, Lisbon Central School, Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Ogdensburg Free Academy, Parishville-Hopkinton Central School, Potsdam Central School, and Salmon River Central School.

The Remington Museum would like to recognize the efforts of the teachers in developing these young artists, and in doing the extra work it takes to participate in this annual exhibit. Thank you, art teachers!
