Open Studio Hours Resume at Remington Museum

Ogdensburg, NY —  The Frederic Remington Art Museum welcomes artists back to its twice-a-week Open Studio for adults. This free program is a chance for artists of all skill levels and backgrounds to come together to work and share ideas in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The group meets each Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to noon in the classroom of the Eva Caten Remington Education Center at 323 Washington Street in Ogdensburg, two doors down the street from the Remington Museum.

The well-lit classroom offers workspace and cleanup supplies. Artists provide their own materials; some bring projects that they are working on, while others find inspiration on-site. For those who enjoy working en plein air, the Education Center offers a lovely garden, and is situated across the street from Library Park.

Participants who have been vaccinated for COVID-19 are not required to wear a mask. For more information about the Open Studio, call the Museum at 315-393-2425, or email Remington Museum Curator & Educator Laura Desmond.
